Many organisations exist in the town to cater for every age and taste, and several welcome visitors. 

Chamber of Trade 

Meets once a month to promote the town and encourage the growth of businesses. It also organises many events for the benefit of the town. New members are always welcome. 

Horticultural Society 

Meets fortnightly during the winter for a season of lectures, film shows and talks. There is a Spring sale of plants in May and a Summer show in August, with coach visits organised to gardens during the summer. 

Soroptomists International 

Meets first and third Thursdays of each month in The Commodore Hotel at 8pm, and extend a warm welcome to fellow members visiting the area. 

Rotary Club 

Meets every Tuesday evening in The Metropole Hotel, and visiting Rotarians are welcome. 

Round Table 

Meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in The Llanerch Hotel. A full programme of events for the year is arranged and visiting Tablers (including 41 Club members) are welcome. 

The Lions Club 

Are very active in raising funds for local and national charities. The club meets on the second Wednesday of every month in The Commodore Hotel, and visiting Lions are most welcome.
